Dear reader, I shall do my best to write this diary exactly as Dragon dictates it to me. But I will add my own comments to explain his more colourful accounts.

There are two volumes to this diary. One is the story of his life, which he insists I record for him. I hope it takes less than the three hundred years it has taken him to live it. The other recounts his thoughts on daily life here in the castle.
